Kansas
City Blues was composed in 1915 by a Texas native named Euday L. Bowman, who also
wrote the 12th Street Rag, The Pettycoat Lane Rag, and several other tribute
songs to Kansas City while living and working here. This recording was produced
in 1916 by the Victor Military Band.
